RC San Fernando La Union Responds to Typhoon Emong Aftermath, Provides Aid and Clean Water to Evacuees
Following the onslaught of Typhoon Emong , the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) conducted an ocular inspection across the city and reported that hundreds of residents were displaced, seeking temporary shelter in various evacuation centers. Among those assisted were 474 evacuees at Catbangen Central School, 133 at the La Union Convention Center, 35 at Barangay Pagudpud Hall, and 242 were sheltered at Ilocanos Norte Elementary School.
