In a continued show of compassion and community service, the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU), in partnership with the UnionBank Foundation, extended vital assistance to families affected by the recent typhoon in Barangay Narra Oeste.
The relief operation served hot meals to 100 evacuees, providing warmth and nourishment in the midst of uncertainty. To ensure sustained food supply for affected households, the team also distributed sacks of rice and relief goods, enabling families to meet their daily needs as recovery efforts continue.
Recognizing the urgent need for clean drinking water in disaster situations, RCSFLU also provided 3 liters of potable water per family. This ensured that every household had safe water to drink—critical to preventing illness and maintaining health during evacuation and rehabilitation periods.
This joint initiative with the UnionBank Foundation reflects the spirit of “Service Above Self” and the club’s unwavering commitment to act swiftly in times of crisis.
Guided by the theme “Unite for Good,” RCSFLU and its partners continue to turn compassion into action—bringing hope, dignity, and relief to those who need it most.
