When Districts Unite for Good..

Rotary’s greatest strength is not found in any one club, district, or country, it is found in our ability to come together in service of a common purpose. Today, that spirit was on full display as Rotary leaders and stakeholders gathered at Cebu City Hall to advance a meaningful healthcare initiative for the people of Cebu.

This donation is initiated in collaboration with  District 3830 represented by District Governor Reggie Nolido and PP Erwyn Alcomendras of the Rotary Club of Makati San Lorenzo, joined by our international partner from District 3450, led by President Peter Lam of the Rotary Club of Tai Po, and District 3860, represented by Governor Angel “Jong” Fernandez, DGND/DRFC Chair Jensen Racho, and Incoming DRFC Chair Jonathan Tse. The local partner, the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre, represented by President Francis Walter Ong and Director/Project Coordinator Robert Barquilla.

Together, these Rotary leaders are working to bring an Ultrasound Machine to the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC), a project that will help enhance diagnostic services and improve healthcare outcomes for countless patients and families in Cebu City.

The coordination meeting was attended by representatives from CCMC, the Office of the Mayor, Office of the Vice Mayor, City Legal Office, Office of Councilor Michelle Abella Cellona and RCCPC represented by DGND/DRFC Chair Jensen Racho and Project Coordinator, Dir. Robert Barquilla, demonstrating the power of collaboration between Rotary and local government in creating sustainable community impact.

When districts unite for good, communities thrive. When Rotary leads with purpose, hope becomes reality.
