RC Tagum North Holds Pickleball Open Play in Support of End Polio Now
A SUCCESSFUL RALLY FOR A CAUSE!
TAGUM CITY, Philippines — More than just a day of sports and recreation, the Rotary Club of Tagum North’s Pickleball Open Play on October 12, 2026, was a celebration of fellowship, friendship, and collective action for a world free from polio.
Held at Paddle Hideout, the activity brought together pickleball enthusiasts and supporters for a fun-filled day on the court, strengthening bonds among participants while building excitement for the much-anticipated END POLIO NOW PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY, scheduled for October 25, 2026, at Paddle Point.
Serving as a pre-event activity, the gathering provided an opportunity for participants to enjoy the growing sport of pickleball while embracing the spirit of service that lies at the heart of Rotary. Every rally, serve, and shared moment reflected the power of sports to bring people together for a greater purpose.
For the Rotary Club of Tagum North, the event was more than a friendly competition. It was a meaningful opportunity to strengthen camaraderie, foster community engagement, and rally support for Rotary International’s longstanding mission to eradicate polio worldwide.
The success of the activity was made possible by the enthusiasm and participation of everyone who joined the games and shared in the day’s festivities. Their presence and support underscored a simple yet powerful message: when people unite behind a common cause, even small actions can contribute to meaningful and lasting change.
As the club looks ahead to its next pickleball gathering, the momentum continues to build toward an event that combines the excitement of sport with the importance of humanitarian service.
The END POLIO NOW PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY will take place on October 25, 2026, at Paddle Point, bringing together pickleball players, Rotarians, and community supporters in a shared commitment to Rotary’s global fight against polio.
Through initiatives such as this, the Rotary Club of Tagum North demonstrates that service can take many forms—and that even a game can become a platform for advocacy, unity, and hope.
As the countdown to the next event begins, the call is clear: keep the rallies going, strengthen the bonds of fellowship, and continue working toward a polio-free world.
Serve with purpose. Play with passion. Unite to End Polio Now!
Together, every rally brings us one step closer to a world free from polio.
