Creating a better place for learning is one of the greatest investments we can make in our children’s future.
The Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre (RCCPC), in partnership with NutsRV Phils., continues the rehabilitation of the Paknaan Daycare Center, reaffirming Rotary’s commitment to one of its key Areas of Focus, Basic Education and Literacy.
Representing RCCPC in this meaningful project are Immediate Past President Kit Daleon and Director Robert Barquilla, who were warmly welcomed by Barangay Paknaan Kagawad Marilou Soco.
This initiative carries a deeper significance as the Paknaan Daycare Center was among the facilities heavily damaged by the 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Cebu last year. Through this rehabilitation effort, we are not only restoring a building, we are rebuilding hope, providing a safer learning environment, and helping ensure that young minds have the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream.
At Rotary, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. By working together with our partners and the local community, we continue to create lasting impact and demonstrate the power of Uniting for Good through Service Above Self.
Together, we are rebuilding not just classrooms, but brighter futures for the children of Paknaan.
