RC Cebu Port Centre welcomes Rotaplast International volunteers to Cebu

Officers and members of the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre gathered at the Mactan Cebu International Airport to warmly welcome the dedicated medical volunteers of Rotaplast International, led by Club President Francis Walter Ong and Rotaplast Cebu Mission Director PDG Antonio “Anton” Florendo.

Their arrival marks the beginning of the 21st Cebu Medical Mission at Adventist Hospital Cebu, a 10-day journey of compassion, healing, and hope.

Over the coming days, this remarkable team will provide FREE life changing corrective surgeries for children with cleft lip and cleft palate. Beyond restoring smiles, these surgeries give children something even more powerful: confidence, dignity, and the chance for a brighter future.

What makes this mission even more meaningful is that it extends beyond Cebu. Children from neighboring provinces are also given the opportunity to receive the care they need, many for the very first time.

Moments like this remind us that service is not just about what we give, but about the lives we help transform. Through partnerships, compassion, and shared purpose, hope truly arrives, one child, one smile, and one family at a time.
