The Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre proudly celebrated its 41st Charter Anniversary and 42nd Induction & Hand-over Ceremonies at the Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu, an evening filled with gratitude, fellowship, celebration, and lasting memories.
One of the most meaningful highlights of the occasion was the recognition and honoring of our Charter Members and Past Presidents whose dedication, leadership, and commitment have shaped RCCPC into the vibrant and service-oriented club it is today. Their legacy continues to inspire present and future generations of Rotarians.
The evening also marked the formal induction of our Incoming President, Segismundo “Jun” Exaltacion, Jr., together with his family, led by District Governor Elect Arlene Juele Adlawan. This was followed by the induction of the incoming Club Officers for Rotary Year 2026-2027, signifying the beginning of another year of service, leadership, and fellowship.
A historic and touching moment unfolded during the toast led by PDG Antonio “Anton” Florendo. For the first time in our Club’s history, both the outgoing and incoming presidents were joined by their respective District Governors, Outgoing District Governor Angel “Jong” Fernandez standing beside President Francis Walter Ong and District Governor Elect Arlene Juele Adlawan beside Incoming President Segismundo “Jun” Exaltacion, Jr.. The symbolic gesture beautifully reflected continuity, unity, and Rotary’s enduring spirit of leadership and service.
Adding international flavor and strengthening global Rotary fellowship were our beloved sister clubs from Japan, the Rotary Club of Yokohama Konan, Rotary Club of Tatebayashi, and Rotary Club of Oita Minami. Their presence and generous financial assistance to various RCCPC service projects further demonstrated the power of Rotary connections that transcend borders and cultures.
The celebration was likewise honored by the presence of Past District Governors of District 3860, District Officers, and the Presidents and Secretaries of Rotary Clubs from Cebu and neighboring areas, whose attendance made the occasion even more meaningful.
As the formal ceremonies concluded, the evening transformed into a joyous celebration of friendship and camaraderie. Guests enjoyed sumptuous food, overflowing drinks, laughter-filled conversations, and lively entertainment. The RCCPC Spouses delighted everyone with their singing and dancing performances, creating an atmosphere of warmth, happiness, and togetherness.
Indeed, the night was more than a celebration of milestones, it was a celebration of people, relationships, service, and Rotary’s enduring legacy. As we honor our past and embrace our future, every person present helped create memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Together, we truly “Created Lasting Impact.”
