marks more than the start of construction, it marks the beginning of dignity, health, and a better future for every child of Cambinocot Elementary School.
In line with Rotary’s Area of Focus on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre proudly took part in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Comfort Room Construction Project, a District Grant initiative that responds to a very real and essential need.
Access to clean and safe sanitation is not just about infrastructure, it is about protecting health, promoting self-respect, and creating an environment where students can learn with confidence and comfort.
RCCPC was represented by DGN & DRFC Chair Jensen Racho and Director Robert Barquilla, and we were warmly welcomed by School Principal Gerry Demellites and the dedicated teachers of Cambinocot Elementary School. Their commitment reminds us that true service is a shared mission.
This project reflects what Rotary stands for: turning compassion into action and small beginnings into lasting impact.
Together, we build not just facilities, but hope, dignity, and a healthier tomorrow.
