RC Cebu Port Centre Empowers Carbon Market Vendors through “Barangay Negosyante Workshop"

The Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre (RCCPC) conducted a “Barangay Negosyante Workshop” at the Cebu Eastern College Auditorium — a learning session designed to uplift our hardworking Carbon Market vendors through Basic Financial Literacy and Customer Service Training.

Our heartfelt thanks to our facilitators Asst. Treasurer Edwin Jardin and AG Antonio Tan, Jr. for leading the sessions on “Customer Service-How May I Help You?” and “Basic Financial Management.”

RCCPC was proudly represented by President Francis Walter Ong, AG Antonio Tan, Jr. with Spouse Marz, Dir. Robert Barquilla, Dir. Marlon Philip Pajulas with Spouse Anabel, Asst. Treasurer Edwin Jardin with Spouse Mic, and Rtn. Bobby Adan, Jr.

Beyond the free workshop, RCCPC also provided aprons to all participating vendors — a small but meaningful gesture to recognize their daily hard work and dedication.

This project addresses two of Rotary’s Areas of Focus — Community Economic Development and Basic Education and Literacy — reflecting who we are as People of Action, committed to Service Above Self, and true Gamechangers in our community.
