RC Cebu Port Centre Champions Education Through Brigada Eskwela

People of Action Creating Lasting Impact

The Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre (RC CPC) journeyed to Cornelio Melgar Elementary School in Pondol, Balamban, Cebu, more than 1½ hours from Cebu City, not just to visit a school, but to help build a brighter future for its students.

In partnership with Tsuneishi Technical Services (Phils.), Inc., Cebu Tele-net Philippines, Gothong Southern, Columbia Technologies, Inc., and Worldwide Steel, RCCPC proudly spearheaded the Brigada Eskwela initiative through the repair of classrooms, the establishment of a Vertical Garden Project, and the donation of five (5) computer sets to help strengthen digital learning opportunities for the school’s learners.

Led by our dynamic President, Segismundo “Jun” Exaltacion, Jr., the club came in full force, demonstrating that when Rotarians, corporate partners, and the community unite, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.

This initiative reflects Rotary’s unwavering commitment to one of its key Areas of Focus: Basic Education and Literacy. Every classroom restored, every computer donated, and every learning space improved is an investment in the dreams of the next generation.
