Our Children Today, Our Hope for Tomorrow

The best way to begin a new Rotary year is by bringing hope to the hearts of children.

Today, the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre (RCCPC) joined our fellow Area 1 Rotary Clubs in celebrating “Rotary New Year with Children” at SOS Children’s Village Cebu. Nearly 50 children, ages 4 to 21, were blessed with food, school supplies, and sacks of rice. More importantly, they experienced the love, care, and fellowship of Rotarians committed to making a difference.

In return, the children warmed our hearts with their inspiring songs and dances, reminding us that hope grows wherever kindness is shared.

Representing RCCPC were President Segismundo “Jun” Exaltacion, Jr. and spouse Dindin, DGND Jensen Racho, Secretary/PN Ludwig Amandoron, VP Clark Byron Gothong, Directors Robert Barquilla, Marlon Pajulas, and Philip Maguicay, Rtn. Jim Fink with spouse Racquel, prospective member Danny Awing with partner Mary Catherine Alajor, and Club Secretariat Vanessa Parame.

As we begin this new Rotary year under the theme “Create Lasting Impact,” may we continue to live Service Above Self, knowing that every act of kindness brings hope today and helps build a brighter tomorrow.

Happy New Rotary Year!
