Leading with Purpose: A Powerful First Step by RC Cebu Port Centre President Walter Ong

On Day 1 of his term, RC Cebu Port Centre President Francis Walter Ong wasted no time in setting the tone for a meaningful and impactful Rotary year.

He immediately stepped into action by participating in “Unang Lakang” – Rotary Day for Children, a heartwarming initiative that brought smiles, care, and hope to the young beneficiaries. As part of this significant day, he also officially welcomed eight new members into our ever-growing Rotary Cebu Port Centre family. These new inductees represent fresh energy, renewed commitment, and the shared desire to serve and uplift communities.

President Walter’s early leadership is a powerful reflection of RCCPC’s long-standing tradition of hard work, “Service Above Self,” and the unwavering drive to build a legacy that not only honors our past but also inspires the future. His actions embody what it truly means to be a Rotarian – not just in name, but in consistent and meaningful action.

Answering the call of District Governor Angel “Jong” Fernandez to be Gamechangers in our communities, President Walter is already making bold, deliberate steps to create lasting change. His commitment resonates deeply with this year’s Rotary theme: “Unite for Good.”
