Establishing the Caloocan City Medical Center South Human Milk Bank

The Rotary Club of Kalookan North represented by Good President Benjamin R. Lee, Jr. and the Rotary Club of Anyang East (South Korea) represented by Club President Park

Younggon officially turned over the Human Milk Bank facility to the Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) South on April 17, 2026.

Accepting the donation were Hospital Director Dr. Fernando S. Santos, and Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo R. Malapitan.

This project is a Rotary Global Grant initiative completed during Rotary Year 2025-2026 under the leadership of District Governor Gina T. Sanchez.  The donation included a milk

pasteurizer machine, specialized storage freezers, sterilization equipment, and medical-grade breast pumps.  The Human Milk Bank primarily serves as a critical resource for vulnerable babies when their own mothers cannot provide enough milk.
