District Grant Best Practice: Rotaplast

Good stories of hope and inspiration are not meant to be kept, they are meant to be shared, because they remind us of what is possible when people come together with a heart to serve.

We were blessed to hear AG Nestor Toledo, DRFC Annual Fund Subcommittee Chair, share the powerful journey of Rotaplast International and the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre. What began as a mission of compassion has now touched over 1,700+ children through 21 years of medical missions here in Cebu, providing free, life-changing reconstructive surgery for those born with cleft lip and palate.

These are not just numbers. These are transformed lives, restored smiles, renewed confidence, and families given hope.

Stories like this must be told, because they inspire others to act, to give, and to believe that sustainable impact is possible. They challenge us to move beyond intention and into action.

Rotaplast stands today as a true District Grant Best Practice, not only because of its longevity, but because of the lives it continues to change year after year.

May we continue to share these stories… not for recognition, but to ignite more hearts to serve and create lasting impact in our world.
