The 21st Rotaplast Cebu Mission Thanksgiving Dinner was more than a gathering, it was a powerful reminder of what happens when hearts unite in service.
Held at Casino Español, the evening brought together Rotarians, partners, and friends in a spirit of gratitude and shared purpose. As we celebrated 21 years of the Rotaplast Cebu Medical Mission, we were reminded that behind every number is a life transformed, a smile restored, and a family given hope.

One of the highlights of the evening was the heartfelt recognition of our valued partners, Rotary Club of Cebu West and Banilad Center for Professional Development, whose unwavering support continues to make this mission possible. Their commitment reflects the true essence of Service Above Self.
We were deeply inspired by the messages of PDG Anton Florendo, Rotaplast Cebu Mission Director, and Rtn. Evelyn Abad, Rotaplast Medical Team Coordinator. Their stories took us back to where it all began, 21 years ago, when Rotaplast first touched lives in Cebu. What started as a vision has now become a legacy of compassion, changing countless lives through the years.
Perhaps the most moving moment of the night was the screening of the 8-minute video from this year’s Rotaplast medical mission. In those few minutes, we witnessed courage, transformation, and hope unfold before our eyes. It was impossible not to be moved, many were left teary-eyed, reminded that what we do truly matters.
It was not just about looking back, it was about reaffirming our commitment to continue this mission. Because every smile we help restore is a life forever changed.
Indeed, we are united for good and together, we will keep saving smiles and changing lives.
