United to End Polio: RC San Fernando La Union Champions at Polio Plus Banquet

The Rotary Club of San Fernando, La Union (RCSFLU) graced the Polio Plus Banquet, celebrating collective efforts in Rotary’s global fight to eradicate polio. The event underscored the unwavering dedication to the Area of Focus on Disease Prevention and Treatment, reaffirming its support for the global PolioPlus campaign.

A total of seven Polio Plus Society members from RCSFLU whose consistent generosity strengthens Rotary’s worldwide immunization efforts. Their commitment demonstrates how individual contributions, when united, create global transformation. The banquet also proudly honored President Alvin as a 1,000 USD donor, reflecting leadership anchored in personal commitment to service.

RCSFLU garnered also 10th Place among the clubs in the district for contributing 2,000 USD and sustained advocacy in polio eradication efforts. Through fundraising, awareness-building, and member engagement, RCSFLU continues to contribute meaningfully to a historic public health mission.

Beyond celebration, the banquet served as a reminder that Rotary’s promise endures until polio is fully eradicated. RCSFLU remains steadfast in ensuring that no child is left vulnerable to a preventable disease.
