The Tahi ng Pag Asa project stands as a meaningful testament to compassion in action, transforming lives through skills, opportunity, and hope. Designed to uplift individuals, especially mothers and solo parents, this initiative provides sewing training and livelihood support that empower beneficiaries to become self reliant and confident contributors to their families and communities.
Held on April 11, 2026 at Purok 4, Barangay Twid-Ilog, Tanay, Rizal, twelve (12) solo parents residing in the community were the grateful beneficiaries of this noteworthy service project.
Tahi ng Pag Asa is a livelihood project of the Rotary Club of Taytay Renaissance that provides sewing training and support to empower the solo parents by helping them develop skills for additional income and sustainable livelihood.
Through this project, the participants are not only taught practical sewing skills but are also given the chance to rebuild their lives with dignity. Each stitch represents perseverance, and every finished product reflects a renewed sense of purpose. More than a livelihood program, Tahi ng Pag Asa is a journey of empowerment, resilience, and transformation.
We offer our heartfelt gratitude to God for His continuous guidance and abundant blessings that made this initiative possible. Truly, His grace has been the foundation of every success we celebrate.
Our sincere thanks also go to all the dedicated officers and members whose unwavering support, time, and effort brought this project to life. Your commitment to Service Above Self has created a lasting impact in the lives of many.
We also extend our deepest appreciation to Governor Gina Sanchez for her leadership, encouragement, and steadfast support. Your presence and guidance have inspired us to pursue meaningful projects that uplift communities and create real change.
This meaningful initiative will continue under the banner of Create Lasting Impact, ensuring that the seeds of hope planted today will grow into sustainable opportunities for many more communities in the years to come.
As we move forward, may Tahi ng Pag Asa remain a symbol of unity, compassion, and hope, proving that when hearts come together in service, lives are truly transformed.
As we welcome the month of May, we are reminded that every act of service creates a ripple of hope in the lives of others. This month holds special significance as we celebrate Women’s Month, honoring the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in our communities.
In line with this, our commitment to service becomes even more meaningful as we continue to uplift and empower women, especially solo parents, through our livelihood and community programs. By providing opportunities and support, we help build confidence, independence, and a brighter future for those we serve.
May is also a time to reflect on the impact we have made and to renew our dedication to sustainable and purposeful service. I am truly grateful for the passion and unity of our members, who continuously embody our theme Unite for Good and our guiding principle of Service Above Self.
Let us continue to stand together, support one another, and champion the empowerment of women as we create lasting impact in our communities.
