Strengthening Partnerships: Pag-IBIG Stakeholders’ Awarding Event in Davao

Taking a brief two-day break from Rotary duties to focus on business priorities, UCP Sheryll Ann Mesina attended the Pag-IBIG Stakeholders’ Awarding Event held in Davao. The gathering brought together esteemed leaders and stakeholders, including Pag-IBIG CEO Marilen, SVP Jong Sta. Teresa, the Mayor of Zamboanga, and several key developers, in recognition of their collective efforts in advancing housing development initiatives.

The event provided a valuable platform to strengthen partnerships and reaffirm commitments toward sustainable housing solutions.

Beyond housing, the occasion also opened an important dialogue on climate change adaptation. UCP Sheryll engaged in meaningful discussions with CEO Marilen and other Pag-IBIG trustees, highlighting the need to align business priorities with sustainability goals to ensure long-term resilience and impact.

This convergence of business, governance, and sustainability reflects a growing recognition that addressing housing needs and environmental challenges must go hand in hand—paving the way for stronger, future-ready communities.
