Strengthening Community Partnerships: RC San Fernando La Union Pays Courtesy Call and Turns Over Public Safety Signages

Further strengthening its partnership with local law enforcement, officers of the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union, paid a courtesy visit to COP Tristan Oliver B. Nara, the City Chief of Police, on July 23, reinforcing the club's shared commitment to community development and public safety.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss collaborative initiatives that promote safer and more responsive communities. It also reaffirmed the strong partnership between Rotary and the Philippine National Police, recognizing that sustainable community service is best achieved through cooperation among civic organizations and government agencies.

Following the courtesy visit, the club formally turned over PULIS signages installed in strategic locations, including Lingsat, Biday, San Fernando City Wet Market, and Poro. The signages are intended to enhance police visibility, improve public awareness, and strengthen the connection between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.

This initiative reflects Rotary's enduring commitment to supporting programs that foster peace, public trust, and community engagement.
