School Supplies Gift-Giving Brings Smiles and Hope to Learners of Mascap Elementary School

A joyful and meaningful School Supplies Gift-Giving activity was successfully conducted by the Rotary Club of Rodriguez, in partnership with the Gwangju-Gwangsan Rotary Club, together with the leadership of Rotary District 3710 and Rotary District 3800, at Mascap Elementary School.

The activity was graced by District Governor Ok Jung Kim and District Governor Gina Sanchez, who personally joined the distribution of school supplies to the pupils. Students and teachers warmly welcomed the visiting Rotarians and partners through lively cultural performances that beautifully reflected the vibrant and creative spirit of the school community.

Adding a truly heartwarming moment to the event, both governors joyfully joined the students on the dance floor—sharing smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories with the children. Their simple yet sincere interaction brought great happiness to the learners and clearly showed the true meaning of Rotary’s compassion, fellowship, and service to the community.

The gift-giving activity was further strengthened by the presence of RI Director Kim Bo Gon, who also personally took part in distributing school supplies to the students. His support and presence inspired both the learners and the volunteers, reaffirming Rotary’s strong commitment to education, youth empowerment, and global partnership.

Through this initiative, Rotary once again demonstrated that investing in children’s education is an investment in the future of the community. By providing essential learning materials and creating moments of encouragement and joy, the activity not only helped students prepare for their studies, but also reminded them that a global family of Rotarians stands beside them as they pursue their dreams and build a brighter tomorrow.
