On July 5, 2025, the Rotary International District 3810 community gathered at the SMX Convention Center in MOA Pasay City for its highly anticipated Handover and Induction Ceremony for the year 2025. Under the inspiring theme, "Unite For Good," the event exemplified Rotary's commitment to service, camaraderie, and global solidarity. Attended by numerous Rotary clubs, distinguished guests, and community leaders, the event marked a pivotal transition in leadership and a reaffirmation of Rotary’s enduring mission.

Leading the delegation from the Rotary Club of Luntiang Maynila Prime were United Chosen President Rod Jason Señoron and CP Elberto Regis, alongside dedicated members Rtn. Michael Musni, Rtn. Archimedes Musni, and Past President Arnil Señoron. Their presence underscored the club’s active participation and commitment to Rotary’s ideals of service above self.

The ceremony commenced promptly at 5:00 pm with a call to order by District Governor Mary Mei Rodrigo. Following the invocation and the ceremonial entry of colors by the Philippine Marines, attendees were treated to a captivating performance of national anthems from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the USA, Italy, and the Philippines, culminating in the Rotary Hymn—a unifying musical tribute that reflected the district’s multicultural spirit.

District Executive Secretary Eric Candidato officially acknowledged the dignitaries and guests, setting the tone for a momentous evening. The grand opening was accentuated by Buganda’s lively dance number, energizing the audience and celebrating cultural diversity. Welcome remarks from Past District Governor Joyce Michelle Ambray, who also served as Chair of the District Handover & Induction 2025, highlighted the district’s achievements and aspirations for the upcoming year.

A special highlight was the recognition of the Magical Year, celebrating the accomplishments and service milestones achieved in the previous Rotary year. This was followed by an inspiring message from H.E. Wallace Minn-Gan Chow, the Ambassador of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation and friendship in Rotary’s global network.

The induction and oathtaking ceremonies were the evening’s core moments. District Governor-elect Mary Mei Rodrigo was formally inducted into her new role by PDG Leody "Odie" Tarriela, Immediate Past Chairman of the Council of Governors. Concurrently, the induction of the United Chosen Presidents and the induction of new Rotary members signified the district’s ongoing growth and leadership development.

The program continued with a keynote address delivered by Hon. Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno, introduced by District Secretary General Herminio Esguerra. His speech underscored the importance of community service, leadership, and unity in building a better society.

Further highlights included the induction and oathtaking of incoming Council of Governors Chairman PDG Joyce Michelle Ambray. The event also featured a special address from Guest of Honor Hon. Imelda "EMI" Calixto-Rubiano, District Governor Nominee, introduced by DGN Elmer Francis Pasion. Recognition was given to generous TRF donors and new members of the prestigious Arch Klump Society, honoring their commitment to Rotary’s humanitarian projects.

The evening concluded with closing remarks from Chief of Staff George Ng and a heartfelt adjournment by DG Mary Mei Rodrigo. The celebration was not only a formal transfer of leadership but also a reflection of Rotary’s enduring spirit of service, unity, and global friendship.

Attendees then enjoyed a fellowship night and an exciting Raffle Bonanza, fostering camaraderie and community spirit.
