In their first meeting held lately, Faelnar emphasized on the need for the Presidents and Secretaries of the Cluster 1C clubs to strengthen coordination, discuss district priorities, and align club activities within the goals and objectives of Rotary District 3790 for this Rotary Year.

“As articulated by our District Governor, this year’s focus is about strengthening all the clubs in our Cluster. The clubs should focus in being better than their best. Meaning in all areas of focus, as well as their annual activities & programs, the clubs should aim to be better than what they have achieved say in the past 5 years,” Faelnar said.

The Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus are Peace Building and Conflict Prevention; Disease Prevention and Treatment; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene; Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy; Community and Economic Development, and Protecting Our Environment.

He added that this can be achieved individually or in collaboration with a club or clubs in the Cluster and his role and the district is to support the clubs in achieving their goals the best way they can.

Actions to be done also include strengthening coordination and collaboration among Cluster 1C clubs, establish common guidelines for meetings, reporting, and project implementation, to aim for the Goal of Platinum Club Award and the like.
