Rotary Club of Taytay Renaissance Joins Hamaka Festival Grand Parade in Support of End Polio Campaign

The Rotary Club of Taytay Renaissance proudly joined the Hamaka Festival Grand Parade in Taytay, Rizal as part of its continuing commitment to Rotary International’s global advocacy to End Polio Now.

Together with EPNC Marilou Co, PDG Tony Co, and DGN Sherrylou Khosiking, the club actively participated in the vibrant parade alongside local government units, community groups, and various organizations. Dressed in their Rotary shirts and carrying the iconic “End Polio Now” banner, the Rotarians raised public awareness about polio eradication and Rotary’s long standing efforts to protect children from this preventable disease.

Also joining the parade were four of the club’s partner community groups: the Rotary Community Corps RCC TODA of Taytay Renaissance, Solo Parents of Taytay Renaissance, Kapwa Ko Tulungan Ko Dolores, and Kapwa Ko Tulungan Ko Sta Ana. Their participation highlighted the spirit of unity and grassroots involvement, demonstrating how Rotary empowers communities to take an active role in humanitarian initiatives.

The Hamaka Festival, a major cultural celebration in Taytay, provided an excellent opportunity for the club to strengthen its public image while engaging directly with the community. Through this event, the Rotary Club of Taytay Renaissance amplified its message of service, health advocacy, and community partnership.

This meaningful participation not only promoted the End Polio campaign but also showcased the power of collaboration, fellowship, and shared commitment to Service Above Self. The Rotary Club of Taytay Renaissance remains steadfast in its mission to create lasting impact and inspire collective action toward a polio free world.
