The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) has intensified preparations for its much-anticipated 68th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies through a series of planning and coordination activities held throughout the week. Club officers and members came together to ensure that the annual event will not only celebrate the accomplishments of the current Rotary year but also mark a smooth transition to the incoming leadership team.
On May 18, Rotarians gathered at Taipan Garden Restaurant for a comprehensive induction planning meeting. Discussions focused on the program flow, committee assignments, guest accommodations, sponsorships, and logistical requirements. Members actively shared ideas and recommendations, demonstrating their commitment to delivering a meaningful and memorable event for members, guests, and Rotary dignitaries.
Further strengthening preparations, club officers and committee members conducted an ocular inspection of the Speaker Pre-tempore on May 21. The visit allowed the team to assess the venue's facilities and identify requirements related to stage setup, seating arrangements, audiovisual equipment, and event flow. The inspection provided valuable insights that will help ensure a seamless and professionally organized induction ceremony.
The planning efforts continued on May 22 during the Club Team Members Drafting Meeting, where members finalized committee responsibilities and refined responsibilities
