The Rotary Club of Marikina Valley continues to make a strong and visible impact in the community through the installation of its Rotary Wheel, Peace Pole and Rotary Billboard strategically located along the busy stretch of A. Bonifacio Avenue. Positioned along a major thoroughfare where thousands of motorists, commuters and pedestrians pass every day.
The prominent Rotary Wheel serves as a shining emblem of Rotary International’s global mission of “Service Above Self,” reminding the public of the organization’s dedication to creating positive change in communities. Not far from the Rotary Marker stands the Peace Pole, carrying a universal message of peace and harmony among nations, cultures and people, a timely reminder that peace begins within every community and individual.
Complementing these installations is the Rotary Billboard, which proudly showcases some of the Rotary Club of Marikina Valley’s high-impact service projects and community initiatives.
The billboard further strengthens public awareness about Rotary’s various programs and advocacies while highlighting the club’s meaningful contributions to society. Together, these visible markers help promote Rotary’s identity and inspire more people to become partners in service and nation-building.
The Rotary Club of Marikina Valley also displayed “End Polio Now” tarpaulins on the same area in strong support of the End Polio Campaign. These tarpaulins aim to educate the public and raise awareness about the importance of vaccination and Rotary’s continuing efforts to eliminate polio once and for all. Through these public displays, the club not only strengthens Rotary’s visibility in the community but also amplifies its message of hope, peace, health and service.
