Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands Joins District Training Assembly Under New Leadership

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands proudly participated in the District Training Assembly of Rotary International District 3790, marking a significant start under the new leadership of District Governor Dan Torres.


Held as the first major event of Governor Torres’s term, the assembly brought together clubs from across the district in a spirited celebration of service and collaboration. The event aimed to align all member clubs with the district’s goals and provide crucial updates on Rotary’s programs and initiatives.




Representing the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands were Incoming Assistant Governor Anna Liza Chan, Cluster Secretary Maria Fe Oyson, President Ponciano Valdez, Jr. and Secretary Naydarna, the Board of Directors and members who expressed their excitement and commitment to the new Rotary year. Their attendance underscored the club’s dedication to continuous improvement and active participation in the district's initiatives.


Throughout the day, participants engaged in interactive sessions focused on leadership, project management, membership development, and community service planning—all while committing themselves to Rotary’s enduring motto: “Service Above Self.”

The atmosphere during the assembly was one of joy, enthusiasm, and unity. Rotarians from various clubs exchanged ideas, forged stronger bonds, and returned to their respective communities with renewed passion and inspiration.

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands looks forward to applying the knowledge gained from the event, strengthening its mission of selfless service, and upholding the core values that define Rotary across the world.
