The Rotary Club of Aseana Manila, under the strong and visionary leadership of United Chosen President (UCP) Sheryll Ann Mesina, continues to uphold its commitment to public health through Project SAM—a nationwide HIV/AIDS awareness initiative targeting the youth and aiming to reach one million individuals.
In partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), Project SAM focuses on expanding access to free medicines and test kits, while actively promoting awareness, prevention, and compassion across communities. The initiative underscores Rotary’s dedication to building a healthier, more informed generation.
In a recent dialogue with DOH Undersecretary Randy Escolango, the collaboration between Rotary and the DOH was further strengthened to ensure that the objectives of Project SAM directly complement the national government’s efforts in combating HIV/AIDS among the youth.
Joining this meaningful advocacy are fellow United Chosen Presidents (UCPs) Christina Aliada, Karen Rose Gamboa-Sumandal, Rynah Fragata Ventura, Allen Rios, and Raoul C. Creencia, who continue to work hand in hand with RC Aseana Manila in championing youth health and wellness nationwide.
