Rotary Club of Angeles Midtown Transforms Lives Through Service and Compassion

Two Meaningful Community Projects Bring Hope, Wellness, and Support to Indigenous Families and Women

The Rotary Club of Angeles Midtown continues to exemplify Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self through impactful initiatives that uplift and empower vulnerable communities. On August 3, 2025, club members led the “Bayanihan Para Sa Katutubo” project for the Aeta Community of Barangay Camias, Porac, Pampanga. Spearheaded by PP Frangel Montemayor, PP Miguel Y. Gumabon, Alicia Mallari Cortez, PP Arnold Carrillo Yabut, and Vangie Sto. Domingo Cruz, the outreach provided medical and dental services, educational and livelihood assistance, and the distribution of essential goods. Through this united effort, hundreds of indigenous families received much-needed care, support, and renewed hope for a brighter future.

Continuing its commitment to community well-being, the club organized the Women’s Month Mental Health & Wellness Talk on March 14, 2026, benefiting single mothers of Barangay Balibago, Angeles City. Led by Jasmine Rose Punsalang Cabral, Vangie Sto. Domingo Cruz, Jennifer T. Bonifacio, Keera Xiamara M. Eligio, Mark Joseph Manalo Peco, PP Ferdinand Alcobendas Sto. Domingo, PE Andres Gamboa Tan, PP Julie Lumingkit Cataluna, and Dr. Princess Sangalang, the program focused on promoting mental health awareness and self-care. Participants attended an empowering wellness talk addressing stress, anxiety, and emotional resilience, while also receiving beauty kits, free facial treatments, meals, and complimentary urinalysis tests.

These projects reflect the Rotary Club of Angeles Midtown’s unwavering dedication to creating positive change through compassion, collaboration, and meaningful service. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term well-being, the club continues to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals and communities, demonstrating the transformative power of Rotary in action.
