The Rotary Club of Mandaluyong North once again brought hope and kindness to the community through a meaningful outreach activity on April 27,2026 held at Tricycle TODA in Jollibee Acacialane, Mandaluyong City. With hearts full of compassion and service, the club reached out to hardworking tricycle drivers, Grab riders, and Lalamove drivers by distributing food packs and towels as a simple gesture of gratitude for their daily sacrifices and dedication.
Led by Good President Lhen Manlangit together with PP Rick Santos, the activity became a reminder that genuine service begins with caring for the people around us. Despite the challenges many workers face each day, small acts of kindness can uplift spirits, inspire hope, and remind them that their hard work is valued and appreciated by the community.
The outreach was not only about giving material support but also about spreading smiles, encouragement, and human connection. Every food pack handed over and every grateful smile received reflected the true essence of compassion. In moments like these, people are reminded that kindness has the power to brighten someone’s day and strengthen the bond within the community.
Adding joy and excitement to the event was the soft launch of Mandy, one of the official mascots of RC Mandaluyong North (the other one's named Polly, who will be a permanent fixture in ther club's end polio now campaign efforts).
More than just a mascot, Mandy symbolize hope, unity, service, and happiness — values that the club continues to share through every outreach and community project.
Their presence brought smiles and positive energy, especially to the hardworking drivers who were honored during the activity.
