Rotary and Rotaract Club of Luntiang Maynila Prime Hold Successful Joint Club Planning Session

On July 31, 2025, the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Luntiang Maynila Prime came together for an inspiring and strategic joint planning session held at the elegant Arzo Hotel. The event marked a significant step toward fostering collaboration, innovation, and community service as both clubs prepare for the upcoming Rotary Year 2025-2026. With the theme “Unite For Good,” the gathering underscored the clubs’ unwavering commitment to making a tangible positive impact in their community and beyond.

The evening commenced promptly at 7:20 PM when UCP Rod Jason Señoron called the session to order. In his welcoming remarks, he emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort, inspiring all attendees to work hand in hand toward shared goals. The atmosphere was charged with camaraderie, enthusiasm, and a shared sense of purpose as members and leaders from both clubs laid out their plans for the year ahead.

A central focus of the meeting was the formal introduction of the new set of officers for the Rotary Year 2025-2026. These leaders were entrusted with the critical task of guiding the clubs toward greater community engagement and service excellence. With a clear mandate to embody the theme “Unite For Good,” the officers expressed their dedication to fostering collaboration, encouraging innovative approaches, and cultivating enthusiasm in all club activities. Their leadership aims to build upon the clubs’ long standing reputation as catalysts for positive change.

Among the most anticipated agenda items was the discussion of the clubs’ signature project, titled "Green Initiative: A Forest Rebirth."

This ambitious environmental project exemplifies the clubs’ dedication to ecological preservation and sustainability. To kickstart this initiative, the clubs planned a fun run dubbed the "LUNTIAN FUN RUN" —a lively fundraising event designed not only to generate funds but also to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues.

The proceeds from the fun run are targeted to support the planting of 1 million trees, a monumental effort aimed at reforestation, combating climate change, and fostering environmental stewardship. This project symbolizes the clubs’ commitment to nurturing nature and promoting sustainable practices within their community.

In addition to environmental initiatives, the session placed a strong emphasis on public image enhancement. Vice President and Co-Chair of Public Image, Michael Derwin Musni, shared strategic insights on elevating the clubs’ visibility and engagement in the community. His presentation underscored the importance of maintaining a positive, active, and relatable public image—an essential component for attracting new members, forging partnerships, and garnering support for ongoing and future projects. Effective communication and community outreach are critical tools that will help the clubs sustain their momentum and expand their reach.

On the Rotaract side, UCP Eliona Loureyn Hernandez highlighted the vital role of membership development in ensuring the long-term sustainability and growth of the organization. She emphasized the importance of recruiting passionate, dedicated individuals and fostering leadership within the youth-oriented Rotaract Club. Recognizing that a vibrant, engaged membership base is the backbone of impactful projects, the discussion focused on strategies to nurture leadership skills, encourage active participation, and retain members committed to service.

While the flagship project generated considerable excitement, the detailed plans are still being refined. The clubs agreed to develop comprehensive strategies and coordinate efforts before unveiling the initiative to the wider community. Members are optimistic that the project will be officially launched in the near future, with an official announcement that promises to garner community support and participation.

The joint planning session concluded around 9:20 PM with UCP Rod Jason Señoron expressing heartfelt thanks to all participants for their enthusiasm and unwavering commitment. The members left the venue energized, united by a shared vision of service, sustainability, and community development.

As the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Luntiang Maynila Prime step into the new Rotary Year, their collaborative spirit and dedication to “Unite For Good” set a promising tone for the months ahead. With a slate of impactful projects, innovative initiatives, and a strong sense of camaraderie, these clubs are poised to create lasting positive change in their community. The upcoming year promises growth, meaningful service, and a collective effort to build a better future for all.
