Ready Set, Rotaract

In celebration of World Rotaract Week, the Rotaract Club of Mandaluyong West hit the pavement for a meaningful cause! Together with the Interact Club of Mandaluyong West and Kylledmed Philippines, the "Ready, Set, Rotaract! Stride for Service" was successfully undertaken.

Starting bright and early at 6:00 AM at Ayala Triangle Gardens on 15 March 2026, the energy was high as Rotarians, Rotractors, and Interactors gathered to run and walk in support of Mental Health Awareness. At a time where mental health is a significant struggle for many, finding a healthy outlet for negative energy—and replacing it with community and movement—is more important than ever.

The morning began with a quick but effective stretching session led by the Rotaractors, ensuring that everyone followed proper body mechanics and stayed safe throughout the 3K stride. To celebrate every participant's commitment to the cause, the following were distributed:

• Souvenir Eco Bags

• Hearty breads

• Runner Belt Bags and Water Bottles

• Vitamins from Kylledmed Philippines

• Certificates of Participation as a token of appreciation and accomplishment

The day ended with lighter spirits and stronger hearts, knowing that every step taken was a step towards a healthier mind and a more supportive community.

In the words of Good President Angeli Pinky Ancheta, “As a known Rotary Club with former Rotaractors, we give utmost importance to the new generations of future Rotarians as they will continue to carry the torch of our tradition of unwavering service onwards the next 50 years!”.
