RC UESA and Joy Ride: Building a Stronger Partnership

December 5, 2025 marked an exciting new chapter for the Rotary Club of Upper Eastside Antipolo (RCUESA) as it officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with its newest corporate partner, JoyRide, the Philippines' leading homegrown mobility SuperApp!

JoyRidePH was founded in 2019 as a Philippine transportation company providing ride hailing services, courier services, food delivery, and freight transport. A high demand for its services has made it an alternative way of transportation.

Rotary International delivers community service mainly on its 7 Areas of Focus. There is a huge similarity with the CSR work of JoyRide, as the latter's community service responsibility projects focus on empowering communities, especially in the Philippines. Here are some of their initiatives : health clinics, legal clinics, vocational training, job opportunities, education, youth camps, and community celebrations. Additionally, JoyRide has partnered with the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to provide alternative livelihood opportunities to displaced drivers and conductors, offering them a chance to become motorcycle taxi riders or delivery partners.

The visit to the compound of JoyRide was an opportunity by the RCUESA team led by GP Victoria Solis, along with District Governor Gina Sanchez,PDG Pope Solis, and District Public Image Chair Rey Pineda, to be toured by company president Neil Sherwin Yu and Senior Vice President Jerico Meneses. A daily influx of JoyRide's rider partners came in for the mandatory check up of their motorbikes, as well as for the monitoring of their skills and documents. Truly, safety is their first concern, bringing JOY to their riders.

The partnership is absolutely buzzing with excitement over the incredible opportunities ahead! This dynamic collaboration promises to accelerate impactful projects, empower communities, and supercharge the motto of Service Above Self like never before. Together, they are set to drive real, lasting change and touch countless lives!

Her fearless vision, relentless passion, and exceptional leadership not only drive the club forward, but truly inspire every member of the club to reach greater heights. And a heartfelt shoutout of gratitude must also be mafe to District Governor Gina Sanchez for her rock-solid guidance and endless encouragement, which makes all this possible!

In every partnership between a Rotary Club and a private company or Institution, an unstoppable force is Rotary's Public Image, as masterfully pointed out by District Public Image Chair Rey Pineda, as it seamlessly puts Rotary in the spotlight and amplifies its stories with boundless energy!
