In its unwavering commitment to empower the community through education and employment support, the Rotary Club of Tagum North (RCTN) once again extended its helping hand to the UCan Station, a facility that assists job applicants and students in their academic and career pursuits.
Recently, the club turned over supplies of bond paper to ensure that job seekers can print essential documents and students can continue their research and thesis work without interruption. This simple yet vital donation reflects RCTN’s mission to remove barriers that hinder learning and livelihood opportunities.
This initiative builds upon the success of the Phase 2 Program, under which the Rotary Club of Tagum North donated seven desktop computers, a printer, and chairs, funded through the Rotary District Grant. These resources have transformed the UCan Station into a more accessible and functional space for those striving to improve their lives through education and employment.
RCTN, under the leadership of President Jason James S. Ebdao, continues to champion projects that create lasting impact. President Ebdao emphasized that the club’s support for the UCan Station is not a one-time effort but a sustained partnership aimed at uplifting the community.
“Rotary is about creating opportunities. By supporting the UCan Station, we’re helping job seekers and students realize their potential and take meaningful steps toward a better future,” said President Ebdao.
The continued involvement of the Rotary Club of Tagum North exemplifies the Rotary spirit of Service Above Self, proving that small acts of kindness can bring big changes to the lives of many.
