RC Sta. Cruz Celebrates 42 Years of Service Through Coastal Protection and Community Empowerment

Marking its 42nd Anniversary, the Rotary Club of Sta. Cruz convened at Hermana Menor Island for a day of fellowship, family engagement, and environmental stewardship. Demonstrating the spirit of People of Action, members reaffirmed their commitment to the 400 hectare marine sanctuary, in partnership with the LGU, sustaining a legacy of service dedicated to protecting coastal ecosystems and communities.
Wave of Change 2026
In the mangrove areas of Sabang, the Rotary Club of Sta. Cruz undertook a coastal cleanup initiative that underscores its commitment to environmental protection. Working alongside partners, members exemplify People of Action by removing pollutants, enhancing biodiversity, and improving water quality, reinforcing collective responsibility in safeguarding
coastal ecosystems and building more resilient communities.
Ngiti at Ani
Through its Ngiti at Ani initiative, the Rotary Club of Sta. Cruz engaged farmers of Tubo-Tubo South in a program on sustainable agriculture. Reflecting the ideals of People of Action, Rotarians shared practical knowledge and distributed seeds and seedlings, strengthening food security while promoting self-sufficiency, resilience, and sustainable livelihoods within the community.
