RC San Fernando La Union Welcomes Two New Rotarians into the Family

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) marked a moment of growth and fellowship with the Rotarization of two new members during its gathering on September 5, 2025 and induction during the 9th Regular meeting last September 16, 2025. The ceremony reaffirmed the club’s commitment to cultivating leaders who live by Rotary’s ideals of service, fellowship, and community impact.

Formally welcomed into Rotary were Robin Rav Licuata, a Restaurant Operator Specialty in Mexican, and Tim Webster, a hotel on Logistics Management. Each brings valuable skills and perspectives that are expected to enrich the club’s projects and community outreach.

The Rotarization rites were led by Past President Don Ting, who emphasized the deeper meaning of being a Rotarian—not just wearing a pin, but embracing the lifelong mission of Service Above Self. Standing proudly with the new members was Dir. Marlon, who served as their sponsor and witness, highlighting the tradition of mentorship and guidance in Rotary.

President Alvin and fellow members warmly embraced Robin and Tim, expressing excitement for the creativity and expertise they will contribute. Robin’s entertainment background is seen as a gateway to more dynamic and engaging community programs, while Tim’s experience in hotel operations will provide valuable insights for fellowship and event organization.

The ceremony also reflected the strong bonds within RCSFLU, as seasoned members shared words of encouragement, welcoming the new Rotarians into a global family united in service.
