RC San Fernando La Union Joins Asia’s Finest at the Genting Highlands Rotary Institute 2025

The Rotary Club of San Fernando, La Union (RC SFLU) proudly stood alongside Rotarians from across Asia as it participated in the Genting Highlands Rotary Institute 2025, held from November 28 to 30 at the prestigious Genting International Conference Centre in Malaysia.

This annual institute is a premier gathering of Rotary leaders, clubs, and districts—an unparalleled venue for learning, collaboration, and strengthening the global network dedicated to service.

Throughout the three-day event, delegates immersed themselves in a rich program featuring The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Seminar and Recognition, thematic forums on humanitarian service, leadership sessions, and a series of plenary discussions designed to sharpen Rotary’s collective mission.

The institute offered invaluable opportunities for cross-border engagement, allowing clubs to learn from best practices, forge new alliances, and gain deeper insights into emerging humanitarian priorities across the region.

For RCSFLU, the highlight of the event was the rare privilege of hearing directly from Rotary International President Francesco, who delivered an inspiring and heartfelt message on this year’s Presidential Theme: #UniteForGood.

President Francesco emphasized that the theme is more than a slogan—it is a call to action. A reminder that when Rotarians lead with compassion, collaborate with sincerity, and serve with purpose, the impact becomes limitless.
