RC San Fernando La Union Honored as Valuable Stakeholder at Naval Command Northern Luzon’s 49th Founding Anniversary

The Rotary Club of San Fernando (La Union) was recognized as one of the valuable stakeholders of Naval Command Northern Luzon during its 49th Founding Anniversary celebration held on September 17, 2026, at Naval Station Ernesto Ogbinar.

The recognition highlighted RCSFLU’s support for the Command’s community and humanitarian undertakings, particularly its participation in a mission to Kalayaan Island, where the Club contributed medicines to help augment the medical supplies provided for the activity.

Though separated from La Union by distance and sea, the mission demonstrated how service can reach communities beyond familiar boundaries. Through its donation of medicines, RCSFLU became part of a wider collaborative effort to bring essential assistance to people in geographically distant and strategically situated communities.

The award also underscored the importance of partnerships between civic organizations and government institutions. By pooling resources, networks, and a shared commitment to public service, organizations such as RCSFLU and Naval Command Northern Luzon can extend the reach of humanitarian initiatives and respond to communities where assistance is most needed.

For RCSFLU, being recognized as a valuable stakeholder is not simply an acknowledgment of what has been given, but a celebration of partnership in action. Every medicine donated represented a small contribution to a much larger mission—and another reminder that meaningful service knows no geographical boundary.

As Naval Command Northern Luzon marked 49 years of service, RCSFLU proudly shared in the occasion as a partner in community service. The recognition inspires the Club to continue building bridges with institutions that share its commitment to improving lives—transforming partnerships into action and action into opportunities to Create Lasting Impact.
