The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) placed the spotlight on women empowerment during its 24th Regular Meeting, held in celebration of Women’s Month this March. The meeting served as a platform to recognize the vital role of women in leadership, service, and community development.
The club welcomed two distinguished guest speakers from the Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union (IWCSFLU)—Past President Julie Lim of IWCSFLU, now as the District Chairman-Elect, and Atty. Ailein Braganza-Dorotan, President-Elect for Inner Wheel Year 2026–2027. Both speakers shared inspiring insights on women’s leadership and the growing influence of women in civic organizations and grassroots initiatives.
During their talks, the speakers emphasized that empowering women is not only about representation but also about providing opportunities for women to lead, serve, and contribute meaningfully to society. They also highlighted how collaboration between service organizations amplifies impact in communities.
Although RCSFLU is composed of all-male members, the club reaffirmed its strong support for women’s empowerment through its active partnership with Inner Wheel.
Together, the two organizations continue to work hand in hand in community outreach, humanitarian service, and development initiatives.
