RC San Fernando La Union and Cluster 1B, D3790 join Grand People’s Parade

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) and other Rotary Clubs under Cluster 1B of District 3790 that includes RC Agoo, RC Bauang, RC Metro San Fernando La Union, RC San Fernando City North, RC San Juan La Union and RC Southern La Union proudly participated in the Grand People’s Parade on March 14, 2025, as part of the city’s annual fiesta. The parade followed the route along Pennsylvania Avenue, MacArthur Highway, and F. Ortega Highway.

As part of the parade, RCSFLU and Cluster 1B showcased their signature float adorned with colorful red and yellow balloons, featuring the Rotary's "End Polio Now" campaign banner.

Members proudly wore red Rotary shirts as they waved to the enthusiastic crowd, symbolizing the club's ongoing dedication to global health initiatives and local outreach programs. The energy was further elevated by the spirited performance of members holding yellow pom-poms and green glow sticks, reflecting the lively and festive atmosphere of the event.

The event not only provided an opportunity for RCSFLU and Cluster 1B to showcase their ongoing projects and advocacies but also strengthened their bond with the local community.

The participation of RCSFLU and Cluster 1B in the Grand People’s Parade perfectly captured the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self." Their presence highlighted not only their commitment to global and local causes but also their role as pillars of unity and positive change within the community.
