RC San Fernado La Union launches “Isang Itlog, Isang Araw” 120-Day Feeding Program

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) officially launched the “Isang Itlog, Isang Araw” 120-Day Feeding Program at Pagudpud Integrated School on July 1, 2025.

The program, aimed at combating child malnutrition and supporting learners’ daily nutrition, is implemented in partnership with the Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union (IWCSFLU) and the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) – La Union Chapter.

This long-term initiative will provide one egg per day to selected undernourished students for a total of 120 school days, promoting better health and school attendance. The project reflects the spirit of collaboration among civic and professional organizations in the province, as well as their shared commitment to community service and child welfare.

RCSFLU President Alvin Ray Mari Dumuk expressed gratitude to partner organizations and school officials, emphasizing that simple, consistent nutrition efforts like this can make a significant impact in the lives of young learners.

Joining him during the project and the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement were Dir. Marlon Niduaza and Past President Sherwin Go.
