RC Morong Advances Aksyon Pangkalusugan with Nutrition Month Contests and Community Aid

The Rotary Club of Morong joined with the educational community in the celebration of Nutrition Month 2025 on July 25, 2025, by way of sponsoring poster-making and slogan-writing contests for the grade school pupils of Maybancal Elementary School, Morong, Rizal.

It was very inspiring to know how these student-participants enhanced their skills and used their talents in making posters and slogans that are consistent woth the theme, “Dunong Pangkalusugan, Gabay sa Kaunlaran.” Participants had no empty hands because all of them won cash prizes, certificates, and consolation prizes.

The club’s participation in this event reaffirms its commitment to support a nutrition campaign to promote a happier and healthier community.

Furthermore, the club also donated first-aid medicines, first-aid kits, and clinical devices and gadgets to be used in case of emergencies. The celebration culminated in the serving of sumptuous snacks and merienda for about 500 students.

This activity was successfully achieved through careful planning and the participation of the club’s active members through the leadership of Unite for Good President Arlene Layacan, under the governorship of District Governor Gina Sanchez.
