RC Metro San Fernando La Union Partners with ITRMC to Support Maternal and Child Health
Partnerships built on shared purpose create lasting impact.
On July 28, 2026, the Rotary Club of Metro San Fernando (LU), led by President Ma. Clarissa "Bong" Lee, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Unity H. Cortez, Medical Center Chief of Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC).
The meeting was both productive and inspiring as both organizations discussed meaningful projects and collaborative initiatives that will be implemented throughout the Rotary Year. United by a common vision of serving the community, Rotary and ITRMC reaffirmed their commitment to creating sustainable programs that will improve the lives of those in need.
Making the visit even more meaningful, the club donated a breast pumps to ITRMC. This gesture holds special significance as July is Maternal and Child Health Month, a time dedicated to promoting the health, well-being, and nurturing of mothers and their children.
More than just a piece of equipment, the breast pump represents hope, care, and support for breastfeeding mothers, helping them provide the best possible start in life for their babies while reminding them that they are not alone on their motherhood journey.
Together, through collaboration, compassion, and service, we continue to Create Lasting
Impact—one partnership, one project, and one life at a time.
