On Jan. 22, 2024, Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) President Ricky I. Molo, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Errol Retiro Ordines, General Manager of Queen of Aklan Organization Inc. Witnesses were Ms. Lora Gabuna-Antenor, VP – Internal of Queen of Aklan and International Service Director PP Megs Lunn. Also present was Queen of Aklan 2019, Ms. Mel Grecia Quimpo.
Queen of Aklan is an organization with a strong focus on HIV-AIDS advocacy in the province of Aklan.
The partnership was established in answer to the call for greater Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by Rotary International President Gordon McNally. In addition, the partnership addresses one of Rotary’s seven areas of focus, Disease Prevention and Treatment
