RC Metro Kalibo Partnered with Buenavista MPS for Community Outreach and 31st Police Community Relations Month

On July 31, 2026 — In celebration of the 31st Police Community Relations Month, the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo partnered with the Buenavista Municipal Police Station (MPS) hold a Police Community Relations (PCR) Culminating Activity and Outreach Program at the Covered Gymnasium in Barangay Salvacion, Buenavista, Guimaras Province.
During the outreach event, 100 food packs (2kls rice, meat loaf, corned beef, noodles, and coffee) and loot bags for their children were distributed to identified indigent residents of Barangay Salvacion and neighboring communities.
The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Life Coach Pastor Rodel Acebedo, followed by welcome remarks from PMAJ Ma. Jona S. Casono, Acting Chief of Police (COP).
The activity featured special messages and on behalf of Pres. Leo Franklin Magno from Club Director PP Megs Lunn and PP JayPee Patriarca, followed by informative short lectures by MSWDO Mrs. Edilwieze Castillano and RHU Midwife II - Mrs. Mardie G. Hiponia, in response to Maternal and Child Health.
Also present were PP Nieva Patriarca, Rotarian Anne Dela Pena (Aklan PYDO) and volunteer Carina Jane Barrios of Pulong ng Kabataan (Kalibo). The event concluded with closing remarks delivered by PLT Almie V. Enriquez, Deputy Chief of Police.
