RC Metro Kalibo Inducts Officers for Newly Chartered RCC Ausome Parents

In a milestone event highlighting community support for neurodiversity and mental health, President Leo Franklin Magno of the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) officially inducted the officers and Board of Directors of the newly established Rotary Community Corps (RCC) Ausome Parents.
During the ceremony, President Magno presented the official Rotary International Charter Certificate to RCC Charter President Viazzadojah Elohaj Recampo, officially recognizing the group as Rotary partners in service for Rotary Year 2026–2027.
The formal program featured inspiring messages from President Magno and Past President Melrose Lunn, who serves as Club Trainer, Facilitator, and RCC Adviser. Both speakers underscored Rotary’s enduring commitment to empowering local communities through sustainable service partnerships.
Directly following the induction proceedings, attendees participated in an interactive Art Therapy Session. The hands-on workshop provided a creative, therapeutic space designed specifically for parents and their children to express themselves and connect.
Officially organized on July 1, 2026, RCC Ausome Parents was founded to create a dedicated support system for families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
As part of its core mission addressing Maternal and Child Health as well as Mental Healthcare, the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo facilitates and supports weekly Free Saturday Art Therapy Sessions in strategic partnership with Autism Hearts Philippines, Inc.
