RC Makati turns over a solar-powered water supply system in Zamboanga City

No holiday for RC Makati (D3830) as they took a trip to Zamboanga to finally turn over the solar-powered water supply system to Simanta Elementary School in Brgy. Calabasa, located 60 kilometers from the urban center of Zamboanga.

The water system will benefit the 60 students of the school as well as the nearby communities, eliminating the need to walk over a kilometer to reach a water source.

Aside from the water system, the project also provided bags and school supplies to the kids, as well as rice packs for their families.

This project, co-funded with RC Zamboanga City West, represents a significant investment of P675K, demonstrating the power of partnership and community support.
