RC Jose Abad Santos Manila and MIP Desiree Gayamo Shine Bright at Philippine Rotary Magazine Awards

A celebration of excellence in journalism unfolded as the Rotary Club of Jose Abad Santos Manila, District 3810, was awarded the Outstanding Article Contribution Award for the period spanning December 2024 to February 2025. This recognition underscores their dedication to crafting compelling narratives that resonate with readers.


At the heart of this achievement is MIP Desiree Gayamo, who was honored as the Best News Writer for the same period. Her exceptional storytelling skills and unwavering journalistic integrity have set a new standard, inspiring others in the field to strive for greatness.


District 3810, under the visionary leadership of Governor Jackie Rodriguez, further distinguished itself by earning the title of Outstanding District with the Most Number of Published Articles from December 2024 to January 2025. This accolade reflects the district’s commitment to fostering a vibrant culture of meaningful journalism.





The success of Desiree Gayamo and the Rotary Club of Jose Abad Santos Manila is a testament to the support of influential figures such as PDG Emiliano D. Joven, Chairperson of the PRMFI Board of Trustees; PDG Suzanne V. Sta Maria, Chairperson of the PRMFI Awards Committee; and PDG Efren Lim, Chairman of the PRMFI Management Committee. Their collective efforts, alongside the entire Philippine Rotary Media Foundation Inc. team, have been pivotal in cultivating a thriving media landscape.


These awards, while symbolized by certificates, carry profound significance. They emphasize the importance of collaboration and community in achieving journalistic excellence.
