RC Diliman International Distributes Essentials for Mother and Child Support

As part of Rotary International’s commitment to creating lasting impact through humanitarian service, the Rotary Club of Diliman International, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Diliman Central, Rotary Club of Quezon City International and the Rotary Community Corps East Fairview, successfully conducted the Distribution of Essentials for Mother and Child Support on July 31, 2026, at Samapli, Barangay Fairview, Quezon City.

The outreach activity aimed to promote the health and well-being of mothers and children by providing essential nutritional support to beneficiary families. Distributed items included Vitamin C supplements, milk powder, oatmeal, biscuits, Yakult, and fresh fruits, all carefully selected to help strengthen immunity, improve nutrition, and support healthy growth and development among young children.

This community service project directly supports Rotary’s Area of Focus on Maternal and Child Health by helping mothers and children gain access to basic nutritional resources necessary for maintaining good health. It likewise contributes to the Disease Prevention and Treatment Area of Focus through preventive health interventions that encourage stronger immunity and healthier lifestyles.
