RC Creative City Baguio hand over lab refrigerator to partner hospital in Buguias, Benguet
The Rotary Club of Creative City Baguio handed another critical new equipment to its partner hospital in Benguet that will keep medical items safe and effective.
Club President Samson Amistad led the turnover of a laboratory refrigerator to representatives of the said hospital amid the heavy monsoon downpour on August 28, 2026 in Baguio City.
The hospital equipment is very essential in ensuring the protection of patients’ samples and preserve medicines and vaccines.
Equipment donors Club past presidents Jerry Chan and Audrey Sungduan initiated the said project including its turnover which was also participated by Club Secretary Tanisha Amistad and Rotarian Wilbur Munar.
Recently, Amistad also led the turnover of some portable apparatus to representatives of the said hospital as part of their club’s kickoff project last July 1 for Rotary Year 2026-2027.
Earlier this year RC Creative City Baguio celebrated its fourth-year anniversary on March 1 by turning over a brand new ambulance to the medical center, the club’s partner in providing help to patients in Buguias and adjoining towns.
This was through its "Wheels of Life" program ensuring immediate help to patients who need to be transported to the said hospital for medical treatment and in line with Rotary’s global mission under the 7 Areas of Focus of Rotary International particularly on disease prevention and treatment aimed on stopping the spread of major diseases and improving health care access.
The club also adopted the said hospital as their partner in service ensuring a steadfast commitment to providing efficient and high-quality health services to patients in need in Benguet.
