RC Cebu South Participates in Districtwide World Polio Day Observance

The Rotary Club of Cebu South participated in the districtwide observance of World Polio Day on October 29, 2025, joining Rotarians across the district in a unified effort to advance Rotary International’s global campaign to eradicate polio.

The districtwide observance generated impact by amplifying public awareness through a strong, collective Rotary presence. By engaging multiple clubs under a shared advocacy message, the activity reinforced Rotary’s visibility as a leading partner in global public health initiatives and highlighted the continued relevance of polio eradication efforts despite significant progress achieved over the years.

Participation in the event also contributed to sustaining momentum for Rotary’s flagship humanitarian cause.

The observance reaffirmed a shared sense of responsibility among Rotary clubs and the communities they serve, emphasizing that vigilance and continued engagement remain essential until polio is fully eradicated worldwide.

Through collective action and solidarity, the activity strengthened Rotary’s unified call to action—underscoring that collaboration at the club and district levels plays a vital role in protecting children from polio and in keeping the eradication agenda at the forefront of public consciousness.
